Once you have selected your vehicle, we will issue a clear and detailed invoice outlining all costs.

Payment is structured in two stages:

  • Vehicle cost:
    T/T in advance to secure the vehicle
  • Remaining costs (freight, fees, and related charges):
    Paid after shipment is completed

and flexibility for the remaining expenses.

SHIPMENT

 

Once the vehicle has been confirmed, we take care of all export arrangements within Japan.There is no action required on your end, and you can leave the process to us with confidence.

We handle the following export arrangements:

  • Vessel booking
  • Export clearance in Japan
  • Loading and shipping arrangements
  • Ocean freight coordination

Shipments are arranged under CFR terms (Incoterms®︎ 2020). Under CFR terms, we arrange and cover transportation to the destination port, while the customer is responsible for import procedures, customs clearance, and any costs after arrival.

Transit times typically range from 1 to 2 months, depending on the shipping schedule and destination. Please note that delays may occur due to vessel schedule changes, cancellations, or port omissions. We kindly ask for your understanding and recommend allowing sufficient time when planning your import. We will keep you updated throughout the shipping process.

DELIVERY

 

Once the vessel arrives at the destination port, you will receive an Arrival Notice from the shipping line or your appointed agent.

We can introduce local customs brokers or logistics partners to assist you with import procedures and vehicle pickup, if needed.

We provide the following export documentation:

  • Bill of lading (B/L)
  • Export Clearance Certificate
    (issued by Japan Customs)
  • Export Deregistration Certificate
    (issued by the Japanese Transport Bureau)
  • Vehicle Inspection Records
    (issued by the Japanese Transport Bureau)

 

HOW TO IMPORT

 

Under applicable regulations, vehicles that are 25 years or older are generally eligible for import into the United States without the need to meet all modern safety standards.

This makes it significantly easier to import many JDM vehicles.

We provide guidance based on these rules; however, final responsibility for import eligibility and registration rests with the customer.
